Explore the most frequently asked questions about our digital learning membership.

For how long is the membership valid?

Membership is valid for one calendar year from the date you receive your login details. It is not linked to the academic year.

How do I access the resources and materials once I’m a member

Once the payment has been received and processed, you will receive a login and password. This will allow you to access the resources and pre-recorded materials. You will receive these via email.

Who do I contact if I have problems with accessing the material?

What discounts are available to members?

Discount on purchases made in the Shakespeare Birthplace Trust online shop (10%) using the discount code supplied in your confirmation email. Discount of 10% also available on Key Stage 2 loan boxes.

Is it possible to pay for my membership in installments?

No, payment for the annual membership needs to be made in full before access to the content is made available.

What is your refund policy?

Digital Memberships are non-refundable, however, if you wish to discuss your membership please contact [email protected]

Is the price inclusive of VAT?

Membership fees are not subject to VAT.

Will I be notified when my membership is about to expire?

You will receive an email reminder approximately 8 weeks before it is due to expire and asked if you wish to extend your membership for a further year. You will get a final reminder 4 weeks before your membership expiration date.

What happens when my membership expires?

If you have not chosen to renew your membership, your login will be deactivated and you will no longer have access to the digital content after the expiry date. You would still be able to book follow up live engagements or future stand alone digital courses and be charged accordingly.

Can I share the link with colleagues and students? 

You can create 6 logins for your school ONLY. These 6 logins can be shared with others within your school but NOT with colleagues from another school.

How many teachers get access?

Up to 6 teachers per school will be given logins to access the digital resources simultaneously.

What is and is not included in the membership?

Members have access to all pre-recorded material plus exclusive live engagement events. Our members also have access to bonus material that is not included if you purchase an individual course. Live Q&As and Loan Boxes need to be paid for separately.

Can I access the same video resources more than once?

The video resources together with any accompanying resources can be accessed as many times as necessary within the duration of the membership.

Is the membership scheme only available to UK schools/groups?

Currently yes, but if you are outside of the UK and interested in discussing online courses for your classes please contact us at [email protected] for more information.

Are the resources suitable for students for whom English is not their first language?

There is a virtual tour of Shakespeare’s Birthplace that is suitable for language learners at an intermediate level, and which comes with interactive resources aimed at this audience. We have a number of additional EFL/ESL resources and classes available elsewhere, please contact us at [email protected] to find out more.

Will you be adding to the bank of videos/resources?

Members will receive email updates as additional course material is uploaded and becomes available.

Do you deliver in-person sessions on-site in Stratford-upon-Avon?
